Eddie Bauer Officially Lands on the Philippine Shores

Spring Collection Fashion Show to launch Eddie Bauer int he Philippines Whenever relatives from US and Canada would send me outdoor apparel and gear, the name Eddie Bauer seemed to pop up frequently. I get flash lights and even shirts as I grow up with the brand. Eddie Bauer is already a household name there having been a pioneer outdoor lifestyle wear since 1920. He was also the guy who designed flight suits for the American Airforce, patented the shuttle cock birdie and outfitted Jim Whittaker, the first American to summit Mt Everest just to name a few of his milestones. Adding to this milestone is the opening of its first two stores in Southeast Asia, here in the Philippines.

Running | Energen Healthy Run 2014 (Manila Leg)

Running at the Kalayaan-Buendia Flyover for Energen Healthy Run 2014 It was the cheap price that attracted me to this fun run. Nowadays in the time when fun runs would charge about Php 500 up, it would let people think twice on joining. The Energen Healthy Run 2014 only cost Php 400 for a 10k run. It’s quite a rarity so I decided to sign in since the run would be at BGC in Taguig which is close to my place, and I was near the registration area which is the Reebok store in Megamall. I got race kit immediately after registration. Simply the race singlet, only free-size available, and the race bib. The singlet was just okay in quality though but since it’s just Php 400, I just shrugged it off, what’s important is it fits fine.

Nokia Lumia 630 Review | A Budget Dual Sim with Windows Phone 8.1

It’s been more than a month since I got the Nokia Lumia 630 Dual Sim phone. I was fortunate enough to be one of the first owners of the unit even before it was released in the market. I shared the main specs on the Lumia 630 here when it was launched sporting the new Windows Phone 8.1 Cyan OS upon release its release. These latest line of Lumias is kind of a bittersweet for Nokia as it would be the last few handsets sporting its label after Microsoft has fully acquired its phone division. Whether its legacy would live on in a different brand, that we have to see but for now these latest handsets is Nokia’s last hurray. Excellent hardware has always been the strength of Nokia and will the new Windows Phone 8.1 finally strike the right balance between its feature and performance in the budget range?
