Mabuhay Magazine January 2012 Finding Rizal Spread Mabuhay is probably the longest running Travel and Lifestyle Magazine in the Philippines. Now the inflight magazine is no longer confined inside the business class cabins on local flights or in the international flights of Philipine Airlines since last month as they have already gone commercial with the magazine now available at the stands. The January 2012 is a jam-packed 152 page with features on Beijing and Shanghai , interview with Robin Esrock and a section on “ How to shoot festivals ” especially on this month of festivities. I also contributed a story with photos about Dipolog and Dapitan on “Finding Rizal” from my last visit there in 2011. Check it out when your onboard or at the bookstores and magazine stands.

The Fireworks in Makati to welcome 2012 Good bye 2011! It has been a good year but 2012 holds a lot of promise. The recent holiday season, we had a lot of foreign relatives visitng our humble home in the Philippines, it was fitting that I stay in the metro but it was a fun staycation. I decided to welcome the new year in Makati for their Magical! Musical! New Year’s Countdown 2011 . it’s the second time for me to welcome the new year here but it was a lot better, organized and more extravagant. The stage and the lighting was awesome, I was also able to catch The Dawn’s pumped up performance and the fireworks, the whole 15 minutes of was magnificent. A great way to enter the new year.
