CDRKing Multi-Purpose Gel Cleaner for Electronics, Cameras and Lenses

CDRKIng Multi-purpose Gel Cleaners I’m always amused whenever I walk inside one of the numerous CDRKing shops at the malls. I remember going there only to re-stock my supplies of Blank DVDs and CDs but now they sell just about anything from curious items like usb-powered mini-fountains to refrigerators and windmills. While I try to avoid sophisticated electronic items for their questionable quality, I do find a lot of items from them very useful. The latest one that caught my eye were the Multi-Purpose Cleaning Gel for electronics. I used to see them on other Electronic shops selling for about P300+ but here, it’s about P50. I had to try it out.

Dispatch | The Coastal Towns of Eastern Isabela

Blos River Aerial View The isolation of Eastern Isabela has always been the lure to explore this remote place. Despite being on the mainland of Luzon, the area is cut off by Sierra Madre mountains. Finally last week, we had the chance to see the region for an exploration and ocular trip as a potential site for our Backpack Photography. After a 12-hour bus ride from Manila to Tuguegarao, we took a SkyPasada 19-seater plane for a 20-30 minutes plane ride to Maconacon . Flying in was already an experience. Seeing the lush forest of Sierra Madre Mountains and the beautiful coastline of Isabela was nothing short of impressive.

Ironwulf En Route Edition on Google Currents

Ironwulf Edition on both IOS (iPad) and Android (Xperia Active) Google Currents is an app developed by Google that’s designed to deliver a magazine-type experience while reading content on mobile devices like tablets and smartphones. Released late last year 2011 in the US, it only got available internationally last April 2012. If you’re an Apple IOS user, it’s easy to say it’s a competitor to FlipBoard , a neatly designed social media aggregator. Clearly and personally, I  think Flipboard wins in terms of aesthetics and reading experience as well as integration of social media accounts like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. But Google Currents do have aces up its sleeve besides becoming a pre-installed app in all Android devices starting from the upcoming Android Jelly Bean (4.1) .

Sony Ericsson Xperia Active: A Tough for Travel Phone

A wet Sony Xperia Active on a downpour in Vigan It seems that everyone is going gaga over the latest phones like the latest Samsung Galaxy S3 or even the coming iPhone. Nothing wrong with that since it pushes technology forward. But with my recent phone acquisition, I looked more on the practical side of things. I wanted a phone that can I travel with, a hardware that can take a beating from the elements yet smart enough to be connected and do more task than just the usual call and text. That’s where I took notice if the Sony Ericsson Xperia Active , a model released mid 2011 that promises to keep up with anyone who’s got an active lifestyle. I’ve always been the market for niche phones like this (I had the Siemens M65/75 series before) and its been a while since I have a sturdy phone. I took a dive and got myself a Billabong Edition of the Xperia Active that comes with a LiveView . After more than a month with the phone, here’s what I have to say with it.

Shooting Action in Sagada

Sunrise at Kiltepan, we found this foreign couple already there which made for a nice foreground to the scener. Sorry for ruining your alone time! Oh those yummy yoghurt, the fresh air, the cool weather and the relaxing greens. How can one not like Sagada ? I can never get tired of the place. It’s no wonder Karl Grobl included this pleasant mountain town in his two weeks itinerary. Aside from getting real close to nature, it is full of photographic possibilities in terms of naturescapes and culture.
