InFlight Traveller May 2014 The guys at InFlight Traveller always seems to stretch and challenge my capabilities in capturing out of the ordinary stories. In my recent assignment, I had to document paddling adventures from kayaks or stand-up paddle boards. That means getting wet, risking my camera to the sea and hell we had to cross a couple of sea channels in one instance. Then there’s the thing about shooting fireflies in a full moon which proved quite tricky but hey it’s much better than shoot ghost stories which I did before with them. Couldn’t have done it without our awesome guide Buzzy Budlong of IslandBuzz Philippines . Feature is written by Oggie Ramos . It was one of the most fun assignments I did.   Smartphones have definitely redefined the way people travel. Suddenly there are travel apps that help people plan, prepare and documents a trip. Being a tech geek and travel freak at the same time, I utilize these tools to add convenience whenever I travel. Here are some of my favorite travel apps that I use for both my Android and Apple IOS devices.

The Nokia Lumia 630 Dual Sim with Windows 8.1 OS Despite the noise made by Microsoft’s acquisition of Nokia’s mobile and services division this month, the company still continues releasing Nokia-branded phones. Karel Holub , Nokia Philippines General manager does assure us that operations will continue as is under Microsoft which means releasing quality phones and services. Nokia Philippines, now Microsoft Devices Philippines recently announced the Nokia Lumia 630 Dual Sim ,  a mid-range budget phone and the first Microsoft device sporting the  Windows Phone 8.1 OS upon release.

Eddie Bauer Rippac Olive Drab I was looking around the newly opened Eddie Bauer concept store in SM Megamall’s new wing and this Eddie Bauer Rippac Packable Daypack caught my attention. I’ve always have this thing for anything “packable” travel essentials. They are usually light and easily goes together with my other travel gear.
