Exposure: Ayala Triangle Symphony of Light

Ayala Symphony of Lights (Olympus E-PL1, Lumix 20mm, F1.7, 1/60, ISO 800) I had a chance to visit the Ayala Triangle Gardens this evening and the Symphony of Light was wonderful. Coming from conducting a Photo Talk, then a warehouse sale, decided to drop by here check out the night lights here. It was really nice, the music, the effects and the lights were really captivating. I only have my Olympus E-PL1 with me and my new Lumix Pancake Lens 20mm F1.7 . It was a great way to test it out on this low-light condition. I’m glad I was able to compose shots hand-held with this really fast lens. Do check out the show every night with up to 8pm with 30 minutes interval. Will surely go back here.

Field Test: Organize with Design Go's Travel Wallet

Design Go Travel Wallet in Hong Kong I just got back from Hong Kong. It was my first time there and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Along with me, I took along Design Go’s Travel Wallet which I complimentary got from Primer. I’m not really an organizer-kind of guy and would just keep my documents in zip locks so it was also my first time to try out using an organizer on a trip.

Dispatch: Hopping Around Hong Kong

Hong Kong Disneyland Fireworks I’m currently in Hong Kong since Friday. It is my first time to visit this place and it has been really exciting these past few days. I and a few bloggers, Nina and Oggie were able to go around getting accustomed to the place during our free days, trying out different forms of transportation, getting from one place to another and more importantly trying out some of the best Cantonese Food I’ve ever tasted. Our main reason for coming here is Disneyland Hong Kong , and so far it was a really fun first day here. I’ll be coming back there later before we head back to Manila.

Few of My Nature Clips included at the "Love the Earth Film"

Imogen Heap and Thomas Ermacora Imogen Heap is one of my favorite female musicians. First time I’ve heard her ethereal voice is on the collaborative duo Frou Frou. I looked her up and found out she had great solo albums and since then, her music has been a constant companion in my travels. I was ecstatic to learn she was co-working (with Thomas Ermacora) on a concept nature film, Love The Earth and are asking people for contributions.

Now Onboard: SilverKris Inflight Mag Nov 2010

Silverkris Makati Art in the City Opening Spread It’s a great experience to have worked again with a different international inflight publication this time just to see their work process. Asked what cosmopolitan city we can easily feature aside from Manila, we pitched the idea of Makati and its ever growing creative spots. It’s a bit of challenge to shoot around Makati since it’s one of the most unfriendly places for photographers, but we managed to pull it off. If you’re flying anytime this month via Singapore Airlines , don’t forget to check out the SilverKris Inflight Magazine and the feature story on Makati, “Art in the City” .
