When I received an invite for the opening of the art exhibit “ Kaynakman nu Ivatan (Treasures of Ivatan) ” I decided to attend since the place is near my area and I’m very much interested on how the artworks look like. The art exhibit is at Galerie Y in SM Megamall . It was a simple opening, nothing fancy and let the art speak for themselves. I got to talk to some of the young and talented members of Yaru nu Artes Ivatan group whose works are displayed, namely Xavier, Jaypee and Javier. They are all based in Batanes but have been in Manila since the first week of April to prepare for this exhibit.

32k Trail runners kicks off the event If you’re an experienced road runner, 6k seems like a walk in the park. But 6k on the trail is a lot different than you think. Add in the X-factor from Salomon and you got yourself some heck of a trail run. Last Saturday, I joined this years Salomon X-Trail Run 2014 hoping to explore the nature trails of Hamilo Coast,Pico de Loro . Initially I was planning to run the 12k trail but I had a nasty bump on my shin causing it to have some sort of a stress fracture forcing me to be cautious and safely run the 6k instead by the time it healed.  I had no regret running the 6k trail as it offered a little bit of everything I like about trail running in the mix.

Digits Trading recently unveiled the availability of these speakers in varying sizes and functions including the black collection. Their first bluetooth speaker designed for home – the Studio 5, also put under the spotlight. I only got to see and inspect the build. Aside from the sleek design and clean lines, so far I’m liking how portable and durable the speakers are. I thought it would definitely be handy for travel. So far here the available models and their prices. Will be reviewing one of the models soon and let you know how they are.

Unexplored beach coves, new and scenic mountain trails, and most of all the patented highly challenging running course that Salomon X-Trail Run has been known for. Nope this is not for the spoiled city slicker runners. It’s the place to bring yourself to the next level of running sport and enjoy the dynamics of running on trail. The scenery is just icing on the cake. In this afternoon’s media briefing, the organizers unveiled the new categories and trails for this year’s Salomon X-Trail Run to be held at Hamilo Coast, Pico de Loro this April 12, 2014.
